Our Coaches

Coaches impact the over 46,106 athletes of
Special Olympics New York in many important ways:

As a coach, you'll teach the sports skills and instill the spirit, courage and desire that define a true athlete. You'll serve as a role model and character builder. You'll also encourage our participants to grow and improve as athletes. And, more importantly, as people.

In today's sports world, how often do you truly get to work with athletes in competitive situations AND assist them with life training? When you work with Special Olympics athletes, that's exactly the role you'll fill. And because of that, our coaches find that the personal rewards they receive outweigh the benefits they offer the athletes.

Simply put, both the coaches and athletes of Special Olympics New York win.
